The Lincoln Democratic Town Committee welcomes all Lincoln Residents as Associate Members.

The LDTC is both a Town Committee and a grassroots organization composed of Lincoln residents, affiliated with the state and national Democratic Party, and it is a recognized Town Committee as is the Republican Town Committee.

The LDTC supports democratic values of inclusion, fairness, opportunity, justice and security for all.
The LDTC addresses issues central to implementing these values, including:
• Environmental & Climate Justice
• Criminal Legal Justice
• Economic Justice
• Gun Control
• Housing
• Transportation
• Immigration Reform
• Voting Rights
• A Just Economy
• Healthcare for All
• Education
• Reproductive Freedom
• Racial Justice
• Prison Reform

The LDTC seeks to elect State and National Democratic Party candidates who strive to impletment our values.
The LDTC explores ways we can build coalitions and action agendas:
• in Lincoln with local partners
• at the state level with organizations and networks to effect political change & responsible government
• at the national level to secure election of progressive leaders who demonstrate commitment to progressive values based on one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

• Elected Members: limited to 35, are elected by the Town on the Presidential Primary Ballot every four years. (Dues: $35/year)
• Associate Members: are people with more limited time who wish to support the work of the Committee. All Democrats registered in Lincoln are welcome. (Dues: $10/year payable through ActBlue)
• Emeritus: honorary long term members. No dues required.

• Actively working on elections
• Writing posrcards for candidates in swing states such as Georgia, New Hampshire, Arizona, and North Carolina
• Canvassing in New Hampshire & Maine and telephoning, and texting
• Holding Signs and other get-out-the-vote efforts
• Connecting to progressive organizations such as Force Multiplier, Swing Blue Alliance, and Democratic Town Committees in other towns
• Initiating and responding to Calls to Action related to our local, state and national Focus Areas
• Hosting informational meetings, screenings & speakers and participating in community activities such as the 4th of July Parade
• Sending out notifications for calls to action, meetings and events
