Campus Election Engagement Project

Campus Election Engagement Project (CEEP) is a national nonpartisan project that helps administrators, faculty, staff, and student leaders at America’s colleges and universities engage students in federal, state, and local elections.

CEEP works with stakeholders throughout more than 400 partner campuses to engage students in democracy by providing personalized coaching and by guiding schools on how to use our resources and navigate students through ever-changing barriers to voting. Schools help their students to register, volunteer in campaigns, educate themselves on candidates and issues, navigate voting laws, and turn out at the polls.

Because individuals who vote when they’re young tend to continue, and because we help schools deepen their electoral engagement each cycle, we generate both immediate and long-term impact.

It Gets Better Project

The It Gets Better Project is a nonprofit organization with a mission to uplift, empower, and connect lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer youth around the globe. Growing up isn’t easy, especially when you are trying to affirm and assert your sexual orientation and/or gender identity. It can be a challenging and isolating process – but, the good news is, no one has to do it alone.

The Food Project

At The Food Project, youth are committed, powerful agents of change. We bring together a diverse group of young people across racial, socio-economic, gender identity, and geographic differences to partner with adults in building a more equitable food system for everyone.

Each year, 120 teenagers from Greater Boston and the North Shore of Eastern Massachusetts cultivate The Food Project’s urban and suburban land. These young people participate in workshops, serve at local hunger relief organizations, lead volunteers on the farms, build raised bed gardens, and work with the community to find innovative ways to expand food access.

Minuteman National Historic Park

Minuteman National Historic Park is a living memorial to the significance of the American battle for liberty and justice for all. At Minute Man National Historical Park, the Battles of Lexington and Concord are brought to life through the preservation, restoration and interpretation of significant sites from "that famous day and year" when Colonists took up arms in defense of liberty and touched off the American Revolution.

There are summer internship opportunities for youth as historic interpreters and community ambassadors.

Environmental Voter Project

The Environmental Voter Project aims to significantly increase voter demand for environmental leadership by identifying inactive environmentalists and then turning them into consistent activists and voters.

The Environmental Voter Project is looking for highly-motivated undergraduates to join our selective Summer Internship Program. Interns will work closely with the Field Director and the Executive Director to learn about subjects such as field campaigning, nonprofit communications and data analytics. In addition to gaining valuable nonprofit advocacy skills, interns will become talented organizers and political operatives by learning the nuts and bolts of nonprofit work and electoral campaigning from an exciting and innovative organization.  We are seeking responsible, motivated candidates who can commit to 24-32 hours per week for this program. This is an unpaid internship in Boston, MA.
